Respond within minutes, when conversion is highest. * Answers visitor questions using only the business info you provide (it won’t invent services or prices). * Runs a job-aware intake (trade, scope, timeline, service area) and qualifies the request. * Emails you an instant, structured «ready-to-call» estimate request the moment contact details are captured. * Chats in the visitor’s language (English or Spanish). * Never gives a binding price — it captures details and gets the visitor scheduled for an estimate. * No-code setup — fill in a few fields, click Save, and the chat bubble appears. Works with any theme. Great for roofing, HVAC, remodeling, solar, plumbing, landscaping and other quote- driven trades. #### External service disclosure To generate replies, this plugin sends the visitor’s chat messages and the business information you configure to an external AI backend service at the «Backend API URL» set on the settings page (a hosted service is pre-filled by default). No data is sent until the widget is configured. Chat transcripts and captured lead details are processed by that backend to produce answers and estimate summaries. By using the configured Backend API URL you agree to that data being sent to that service. Install the plugin (Plugins > Add New > Upload, or from the directory) and activate it. 2. Go to Settings > Bidquill. 3. Enter your business name, services & service area, business info/FAQ, and notification email. (The Backend API URL is pre-filled with the hosted service — leave it as- is unless self-hosting.) 4. Click «Save & Sync». The chat bubble will appear on your site. ## Часто задаваемые вопросы ### Do I need an API key? No. Bidquill is pre-configured to use a hosted assistant backend, so it works out of the box. Advanced users can point it at their own self-hosted backend instead. ### Will it quote a price to the customer? No. Bidquill never gives a binding price. It captures the job details (trade, scope, timeline, service area) and gets the visitor scheduled for an estimate, then emails you the request. ### Will the chatbot make up services or prices? No. It answers only from the business info and FAQ you enter on the settings page. If it doesn’t know something, it says so instead of inventing an answer. ### What happens when someone becomes a lead? The moment a visitor shares their name and contact details, you receive an email with a structured, ready-to-call estimate request so you can respond fast. ### What languages are supported?
