BuddyPress Cover It allows users to have a cover profile.
Allow user add upload avatar function with ajax in profile.
user can drag cover and save position.
send activity when user change cover and avatar.
user can select from previously uploaded cover photos.
admin can upload default avatar , cover profile and cover group

Установка
To Install:
- Download the plugin file
- Unzip the file into a folder on your hard drive
- Upload the
/bp-cover/folder to the/wp-content/plugins/folder on your site - Single-site BuddyPres go to Plugins menu and activate there.
- For Multisite visit Network Admin -> Plugins and Network Activate it there.

Yes. you should go to Bp cover Settings page in settings/Bp cover menu.
and edit optionsfor work default avatar you should select Mystery Person or Gravatar Logo in Discussion Settings page

Would have loved for this plugin to work. Unfortunately it just moved the default cover shot lower and covered up the navigation buttons.

Because of the complexity of my site, I knew making a theme for this would be necessary. Thankfully the cover feature this provided was exactly what I needed.
I'd like to use the avatar feature as well. Unfortunately, when uploading avatars, there are black bars that appear on the right and bottom of images. It would also be nice to allow the cropping like you can do with BuddyPress by default, or some form of scaling like the cover photos.
For now, I just used the theme's CSS to cancel out the plugin's avatars, but if this feature would be implemented in the future, I'd definitely love to use it.
Overall, great work. You saved me a lot of time.

It will screw up your BuddyPress profile page horribly.
See it for yourself here.
It not only inserted the profile pictures wrong, but also created a grey area that totally covered up all the profile management links, plus two misplaced buttons which are not functional at all.
It almost gave me a heart attack after seeing its effect! Luckily I was able to undo them by disable and delete this piece of junk.
Be warned!
