## Описание

BP Distance Search adds a new _Google Place Autocomplete_ field type to your BuddyPress
extended profiles, and registers this field type with [BP Profile Search](https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-profile-search/).

After installing this plugin:

 1. Admin can create new profile field(s) with type _Google Place Autocomplete_
 2. Members can fill in the new profile field(s) on their _Profile Edit_ page
 3. Admin can add the new profile field(s) to a BP Profile Search form, selecting either
    the _distance_ search mode or one of the usual text search modes _contains_, _is_,
    or _is like_
 4. Visitors can use the search form with the new profile field(s)

## Установка

 * Get a [Google API key](https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key)

Get a _Maps JavaScript API_ key, and enable the _Geocoding API_ and the _Places 
API_.

 * Follow the standard plugin installation procedure, see [Installing Plugins](https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/manage-plugins/#installing-plugins-1)

This plugin doesn’t require any configuration, you’ll need your API key when you
create your first _Google Place Autocomplete_ profile field.

There is only one thing I would change. I wish you could limit how much information
users could give. For example: require city — but prevent users from giving their
full address for security reasons. I think this is really about Google though and
not the plugin. The plugin just uses Google’s APIs. I just added a warning on my
registration page advising users not to give their full addresses. The plugin is
very useful and does just what it’s supposed to do.
