How It Works

1. Get Your Widget Data ID: In your Feedspace account, open the widget → Share → Add widget to Website → next to «Install Now,» click the widget ID (the data-id, e.g., 93670fb7-547e-4ff2-a346-bc228b70be51), then use it in the plugin.
2. Add to WordPress: Enter the widget data ID in the plugin settings or use the Gutenberg block
3. Display: Your testimonials appear instantly on your website

Development

This plugin uses modern build tools to compile and minify JavaScript and CSS assets for production use.

Build Tools:
— npm (Node Package Manager) — Package management
— webpack — Module bundler and asset compiler

The human-readable source code is included in this plugin and located in the src/ directory:

Building from Source:
To rebuild the compiled assets from source:

1. Install dependencies: npm install
2. Build production assets: npm run build
3. Build development assets (with source maps): npm run build:dev

The compiled and minified assets are output to the build/ directory.

Note: The compiled assets in build/ are generated from the source code in src/. Both the source code and compiled assets are included in this plugin package for transparency and compliance with WordPress.org guidelines.

Privacy & Data Handling

Data Collection:
This plugin does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information from your website visitors or WordPress users.

User Tracking:
This plugin does not track users or implement any tracking mechanisms. No cookies are set, and no analytics data is collected.

Data Transmission:
The only data transmitted is widget ID requests to Feedspace’s API to fetch testimonial content. This is done server-side and does not involve user data.

Consent:
No user consent is required as this plugin does not collect or process personal data.
