## Описание

**Automatic Verifactu invoicing for every WooCommerce sale and refund.** Finseed
turns your orders and refunds into compliant invoices, submits them to the Spanish
tax agency (Agencia Tributaria, AEAT) and sends them to your customers. You keep
selling. Finseed takes care of the invoices.

If your business invoices in Spain and sells through WooCommerce, Finseed is built
for you. It covers sales in mainland Spain, the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla,
the European Union and the rest of the world, whether you sell goods or services.

No digital certificate. No extra PDF invoice plugin. No manual invoicing for routine
WooCommerce sales.

#### What is Finseed?

Finseed is a complete Verifactu invoicing service for e-commerce. It decides which
invoice and tax treatment each sale needs, checks the order before issuing anything
and keeps the entire invoicing record ready for you and your accountant.

At a glance:

✅ Automatic invoices for orders and full or partial refunds
 ✅ Verifactu submission
to the AEAT, with the required QR and fingerprint ✅ Correct IVA, IGIC, IPSI, OSS,
reverse charge and export treatment ✅ NIF/CIF capture and validation at checkout
only when needed ✅ Full, simplified and corrective invoices in one service ✅ Branded
invoices, customer delivery and self-service downloads ✅ Clear reports and PDF
or Excel exports ✅ Unlimited free test mode before your first real invoice

Use Finseed free forever in test mode, with no card, until you feel confident going
live. Real invoicing and submissions to the AEAT start at €14.95/month, with no
annual commitment.

[See features, pricing and customer stories](https://www.finseed.es/productos/verifactu-woocommerce)

#### Every order and refund invoiced automatically

Choose which WooCommerce order status should trigger invoicing. When an order reaches
that point, Finseed creates the correct full or simplified invoice, submits it to
the AEAT and can email it to your customer with your logo.

A full or partial refund creates the matching corrective invoice automatically.
If one item from a three-item order is refunded, Finseed corrects that item and
its taxes. Corrective invoices are included in every plan.

If customer or tax data needs attention, Finseed pauses the invoice and tells you
what to correct before anything incorrect reaches the AEAT.

#### The right tax treatment wherever you sell

Finseed classifies each order line using your business location, the customer’s
location and tax status, and whether you sold goods or services. This covers:

 * IVA at standard, reduced and super-reduced rates.
 * IGIC and IPSI for the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla.
 * OSS for distance sales to consumers in the European Union.
 * Reverse charge for qualifying sales to European Union businesses, including VIES
   validation.
 * Export exemptions and the correct place-of-supply rules for international goods
   and services.
 * Recargo de equivalencia when the sale requires it.

Each invoice also receives the legal mentions required for its operation. You do
not need to maintain tax rules or invoice templates for every destination.

#### Ask for the NIF without adding friction to every checkout

Finseed adds an invoice request and NIF/CIF field to both the classic and block
checkout. Buyers provide their tax details when they need a full invoice, while
other customers can complete their purchase without unnecessary fields. The tax
number is checked before payment so you can correct it before invoicing.

#### No digital certificate and no patchwork of plugins

Finseed is an AEAT _colaborador social_, so we submit your invoices with our own
certificate. You do not need to obtain, install, renew or share a digital certificate.

One service covers full and simplified invoices, corrective invoices, customer emails,
your logo, legal mentions, reports and exports. You do not need to buy a separate
PDF invoice or corrective invoice extension.

Finseed publishes its [Verifactu responsible declaration](https://www.finseed.es/declaracion-responsable),
the document Spanish law requires from invoicing software providers.

#### Your invoices and numbers stay under your control

See revenue, invoices, corrective invoices and exempt operations by period. Export
your records to PDF or Excel whenever your accountant needs them.

You can continue an existing invoice series when you move to Finseed, even in the
middle of the year. You can also create invoices for sales outside WooCommerce and
connect several stores to the same business.

Your records remain available if you cancel, and you can export them whenever you
want. A future tax inspection should not depend on keeping a subscription.

#### What customers say

too, and it integrates perfectly with our store. They handle every doubt quickly
and adapt the system to your needs. It was a great call to trust them for our Verifactu
compliance.» CoralMastery

### External services

This plugin depends on the Finseed service to work, and therefore sends data to
Finseed (operated by the company behind https://finseed.es). No other third-party
service is contacted.

Data moves between your store and Finseed in three distinct ways:

 1. **Finseed API (`https://woo.finseed.es`)** Used to connect your store, to read
the connection status and the invoicing settings you chose in Finseed, and to validate
    the NIF/CIF entered at checkout.
 2. * **When:** when you connect the plugin on the settings page, and every time a
buyer enters a NIF/CIF during checkout. The status is read when the settings
page opens, when you click «Comprobar ahora», when Finseed signals a change,
and in the background while the tax ID field is on. A background read starts
only when your site receives a request, such as a visit to your store. It runs
at most every 15 minutes while the last read failed, or while Finseed has not
stated the invoicing settings and has not rejected the access token. Otherwise
it runs at most once a day. A read queued before you switch the field off can
       still run once.
     * **Data sent to read the status:** the access token and the plugin version. No
       customer data is sent.
     * **Data sent when connecting:** an installation identifier generated by the plugin,
your store address, your store name, the platform name and the plugin version.
Approving the connection in your browser returns an access token and a signing
secret. The signing secret stays on your store and is never sent anywhere.
     * **Data sent for tax ID validation:** the buyer’s NIF/CIF, their name or company
name, and the billing country. When the buyer places an order on which the store
charges no VAT on a product going to another EU country, the plugin also says
so, and Finseed checks an EU VAT number with the EU’s VIES register.
 3. **Finseed order notifications (`https://woo.finseed.es`)** A notification that
something happened, so Finseed knows to build an invoice.
 4. * **When:** when an order is created, updated, changes status or is refunded.
     * **Data sent:** the WooCommerce order ID, the order number and the order’s creation
and last-modified dates. This particular event carries no customer or line-item
       data.
 5. Every request after connecting carries your store’s access token and a signature
calculated from the signing secret, so Finseed can confirm the request really came
    from your store.
 6. **WooCommerce webhooks and order retrieval** The notification above carries only
identifiers, so the order itself reaches Finseed two further ways. Finseed registers
WooCommerce’s own webhooks in your store pointing at `https://<finseed host>/api/
woocommerce/webhooks`, and WooCommerce delivers the complete order or refund payload
to them directly. Finseed also reads order and refund records back from your store’s
WooCommerce REST API (`/wp-json/wc/v3/...`) using the credentials established when
you connected, to build an invoice or to reconcile one.
 7. * **When:** on each order or refund change, and whenever an invoice has to be
       built, rebuilt or reconciled.
     * **Data transferred:** the complete order and refund records. That includes the
customer’s name and contact details, billing and shipping addresses, line items,
tax lines, totals, currency and payment-method metadata. This is the data that
appears on the invoice and in the Verifactu record.

Finseed may also call your store on an authenticated endpoint to confirm the connection
is healthy and read the installed plugin version, so it can tell you when an update
is available. These requests are signed with the connection’s secret; the version
is never exposed publicly.

By connecting the plugin to your Finseed account you accept Finseed’s Terms and
Conditions and Privacy Policy:

### Data the plugin stores in your store

The plugin generates an installation identifier and stores it in the WordPress options,
under `finseed_install_id`. It is a random 32-character value. It holds no personal
data, does not describe your store, and is not derived from your web address or
from any business data. It exists to identify this installation in a stable way,
and it is sent to Finseed when you connect your store, so that reconnecting later
is recognised as the same installation rather than a new one.

When you connect your store, the access token and signing secret returned by Finseed
are stored in the WordPress options under `finseed_connection`.

When your store is connected, the plugin also creates a WooCommerce REST API key
so that Finseed can read your orders, and keeps a record of it in the WordPress
options under `finseed_key_provisioning`.

**The identifier is always kept when you uninstall the plugin.** That is deliberate:
it lets a reinstall reconnect as the same installation instead of appearing as a
new store.

Uninstalling tells Finseed to close the connection. When Finseed confirms it is
closed, the plugin deletes the REST API key it was using, and deletes the stored
connection and the key record as well. If Finseed cannot be reached at that moment,
nothing is deleted: those records are the only way a reinstall can close that connection
later, and the REST API key stays until it can.

In the rare case where the key record still names a key the plugin could not delete,
that record is also kept, so that a reinstall can finish removing it.

The rest of the plugin’s data (your settings) is deleted on uninstall, so after
reinstalling you will have to set your options again. Responses the plugin caches
temporarily are also deleted from the database; if your store uses an external cache
such as Redis or Memcached, those responses are not deleted at that moment, but
they expire on their own within five minutes at most.

If you want to remove the identifier, and anything the steps above kept, delete
them by hand after uninstalling the plugin:

    ```
    wp option delete finseed_install_id
    wp option delete finseed_connection
    wp option delete finseed_key_provisioning
    ```

Check WooCommerce, Settings, Advanced, REST API as well, and revoke any key named
for Finseed that is still listed there.

### License

This plugin, all bundled libraries and any other included assets are licensed under
the GNU General Public License version 2 or later (GPL-2.0-or-later), or under a
GPL-compatible license. The bundled JavaScript builds on the WordPress and WooCommerce
packages provided by WordPress core, together with our own code and tooling under
GPL-compatible licenses such as MIT. No third-party PHP libraries are bundled.

A copy of the GPLv2 is included in license.txt and available at https://www.gnu.
org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html.

### Source code and build process

This plugin ships with its complete, human-readable source code. The compiled JavaScript
in `assets/js/build/` is generated from `client/`:

 * `assets/js/build/settings-page.js` is compiled from `client/settings-page/index.
   jsx`
 * `assets/js/build/legacy-checkout.js` is compiled from `client/legacy-checkout/
   index.js`
 * `assets/js/build/blocks-checkout.js` is compiled from `client/blocks-checkout/
   index.js`
 * Both checkout bundles include `client/shared/tax-id-field.js`

The build uses @wordpress/scripts (webpack and Babel), configured in the bundled`
webpack.config.js`, `babel.config.js` and `package.json`. To rebuild from source,
run `pnpm install --frozen-lockfile` then `pnpm build` from the plugin directory.

## Установка

 1. Make sure WooCommerce is installed and active (WooCommerce 3.5.0 or later recommended).
 2. Install the Finseed plugin and activate it.
 3. In WordPress, go to **WooCommerce Finseed** and press **Conectar con Finseed**.
A Finseed tab opens: create your account there (or log in) and approve the store.
 4. Back in WordPress, the settings page confirms on its own when the store is connected.
You never copy or paste any key.

That is it. From then on, confirmed orders and refunds are sent to Finseed and the
matching invoices are issued and filed with the AEAT. For the full walkthrough with
screenshots, see https://www.finseed.es/verifactu/woocommerce/como-emitir-facturas-
verifactu-con-woocommerce.

## Часто задаваемые вопросы

### Is Finseed right for my store?

Finseed is for businesses that use WooCommerce and need to issue invoices in Spain
under Verifactu. It is designed for stores selling in mainland Spain, the Canary
Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, the European Union or internationally. It covers goods,
services, business customers and consumers.

### How much does Finseed cost?

Plans start at €14.95/month, paid monthly with no annual commitment. Every plan
includes the complete Verifactu invoicing flow. See current plans at https://www.
finseed.es/productos/verifactu-woocommerce.

### Can I try it before paying?

Yes. Test mode is free, unlimited and does not require a card. You can use your
real store and review the invoices Finseed would issue without sending anything
to the AEAT. Activate real invoicing only when you are ready.

### Do I need a digital certificate?

No. Finseed is an AEAT _colaborador social_ and submits invoices on your behalf
with its own certificate. You do not need to obtain, install, renew or share one.

### Is Finseed officially approved by the AEAT?

The AEAT does not issue an official approval certificate for Verifactu software.
Spanish law requires the software provider to publish a responsible declaration.
Finseed’s declaration is public at https://www.finseed.es/declaracion-responsable.
Finseed is also an AEAT _colaborador social_.

### What happens when I refund an order?

Finseed creates and submits the corresponding corrective invoice automatically.
This includes partial refunds. If a customer returns one item, the correction reflects
that item and its taxes.

### How does Finseed handle sales outside mainland Spain?

Finseed classifies each line from your business location, the customer’s location
and tax status, and whether you sold goods or services. It supports IVA, IGIC, IPSI,
OSS, reverse charge, export exemptions and international place-of-supply rules.

### When does checkout ask for the NIF/CIF?

Buyers provide their tax details when they request a full invoice or when the order
requires one. Other customers can complete the purchase without an unnecessary mandatory
NIF field. If you choose «Siempre obligatorio» in the plugin settings, checkout
asks every buyer for it on orders in euros. Finseed validates the number before
invoicing.

### Does it work with both WooCommerce checkout types?

Yes. Finseed supports the classic checkout and the block checkout. It also works
with HPOS, WPML and WooCommerce Subscriptions.

### Does it work with every payment gateway?

Yes. Finseed invoices WooCommerce orders when they reach the status you choose,
regardless of whether the customer paid with Redsys, Stripe, PayPal, Bizum, bank
transfer, cash on delivery or another gateway.

### Do I need another invoice plugin?

No. Full, simplified and corrective invoices, branded PDFs, customer delivery, reports
and exports are included. If you already use another PDF invoice plugin, disable
it when you activate Finseed to avoid duplicate invoice numbering.

### Can I switch to Finseed in the middle of the year?

Yes. Set the next number for each invoice series and continue from your current
sequence without waiting until January.

### Can I invoice sales outside WooCommerce?

Yes. Create individual invoices in Finseed for physical-store, telephone or other
off-site sales. You can also connect several WooCommerce stores to the same business.

### What happens if Finseed is temporarily unavailable?

Your checkout stays open and the sale completes. Pending order activity is reconciled
when the service is available again, then the invoices are issued.

### Can I take my invoices with me if I cancel?

Yes. Export your invoices and data whenever you want. You keep access to your historical
records after cancelling, so they remain available for your accountant or a future
tax inspection.

### What data leaves my store?

See «External services» above for the exact data, destination and timing. «Data
the plugin stores in your store» explains what remains in WordPress.

## Журнал изменений

#### 2.6.0

 * When a buyer’s tax ID belongs to a company, checkout now shows an «Empresa» field
next to it and asks for the company’s name. On a Spanish address the field appears
for a company tax ID (CIF). On any other address it appears when the buyer answers«
Empresa» to «Compras como». The field starts with the billing company when the
buyer has one, and the buyer can change it. The order sends this name to Finseed,
so a company’s invoice names the company, not the person who bought.
 * On a Spanish address, the «Empresa» field also appears for an EU VAT number from
another EU country, such as DE815892943, and is required beside it, as for a
   CIF.
 * Checkout now asks «Compras como» on every address outside Spain, outside the
EU too. A company outside the EU gives its tax identification, and a private
person gives an identity document or passport.
 * The checkbox now reads «Quiero factura con mis datos fiscales». The tax ID labels
are shorter, and the amount above which checkout requires a tax ID shows as help
   text under the field.
 * Checkout messages now say «número de IVA de la UE» instead of «NIF-IVA». When
checkout requires a tax ID and the field is empty, the message names what to
type, such as «Indica tu NIF, CIF o NIE para continuar.»
 * On the block checkout with WooCommerce 10.1 or later, the order confirmation
page and email no longer list the buyer’s answers to «Compras como» and to the
document questions, or the invoice checkbox. They still show the tax ID and the
company name. On earlier WooCommerce versions only the order confirmation of
   a block theme hides them.
 * On the block checkout, checkout now checks the tax ID when the buyer leaves the
field, as the classic checkout does. When the check refuses the tax ID, for example
because the NIF and the buyer’s name do not match, the message shows under the
field before the buyer places the order. When the check gets no firm answer,
the buyer sees nothing, and the tax ID is checked again when the buyer places
   the order.
 * When the store’s own tax settings charge no VAT on a product going to another
EU country, checkout now checks the buyer’s EU VAT number with the EU register
when the buyer places the order. A product line counts when its tax rate is 0%
or it carries no tax. When the register says the number is not active, checkout
refuses the order with «Este número de IVA de la UE no consta como activo para
compras entre países de la Unión. Revísalo.» When the register cannot answer,
the order goes through, and Finseed checks the number again before it issues
the invoice. On any other sale, checkout does not ask the register. The plugin
never changes the tax the store charges.

#### 2.5.1

 * When the tax agency does not find a company tax ID (CIF), checkout now asks the
buyer to check the number. It no longer asks the buyer to add or correct the
company name, because the tax agency does not compare a company’s name with its
   CIF.
 * When a personal NIF or NIE does not match the buyer’s name, the message now names
the NIF and the buyer’s name. It asks the buyer to check the NIF, or to write
their name as on their identity document.
 * Checkout messages about a tax ID no longer name the tax agency.
 * Checkout now recognises Croatian EU VAT numbers: HR followed by 11 digits, such
as HR12345678901. On a Spanish address, and for a business buyer in another EU
country, the order records such a number as a Croatian EU VAT number. For a business
buyer in Croatia, checkout now checks the number’s format, as it does for other
EU countries. Before, it checked only the length.

#### 2.5.0

 * The amount above which checkout requires a tax ID now comes from Finseed. It
is the limit you set for simplified invoices in your Finseed integration, so
checkout follows the amount your invoices use.
 * The settings page shows that amount and your invoicing rule without letting you
edit them. It no longer offers its own choice between 400 € and 3.000 €. The
amount you chose there before is kept but no longer used.
 * While the plugin has no amount from Finseed, checkout requires a tax ID above
3.000 €. This happens when the store is not connected, right after the update
until the first read, and when Finseed states no amount for the store, for example
when it has no active integration. The settings page says which case applies.
 * A new choice on the settings page, «Siempre obligatorio», makes checkout require
a tax ID on every order in euros, whatever the amount. In this mode checkout
does not show the «Quiero factura completa» box.
 * When you change the amount in Finseed, Finseed tells your store at once. While
the tax ID field is on, the plugin also reads the amount in the background. It
reads at most every 15 minutes while the last read failed, or while Finseed has
not stated the invoicing settings and has not rejected the access token. Otherwise
it reads at most once a day. A background read starts only when your site receives
a request, such as a visit to your store. So a message that did not arrive is
caught up once the site has traffic.

#### 2.4.0

 * Checkout now checks a tax ID with Finseed’s validation service. It still checks
a Spanish NIF with the Spanish tax agency under the name on the order, and now
tries both the company name and the buyer’s name.
 * A passport or another country’s identity document that the buyer declares is
no longer checked as if it were a Spanish NIF.
 * When the tax agency does not find a Spanish NIF under those names, checkout shows
the NIF and the names it tried, and says what to correct. A company tax ID without
a company name asks the buyer to fill in the company field.
 * On the block checkout, the tax ID is now checked when the order is placed. On
WooCommerce 8.9, checkout did not check a Spanish NIF with the tax agency before.
 * When Finseed recognises a tax ID more precisely than the plugin can from the
value alone, the order records Finseed’s reading.

#### 2.3.0

 * Orders now record the kind of tax ID the buyer gave: a Spanish NIF, an EU VAT
number, a passport or another identity document. They also record the country
that issued it. The plugin records both when it recognises the kind from the
value or the buyer declares it. Finseed uses both when it issues the invoice.
 * When a buyer in another EU country gives a tax ID, the order also records whether
the buyer buys as a business or as a consumer.
 * A tax ID made only of blank spaces, such as non-breaking spaces, is no longer
   saved on the order.

#### 2.2.0

 * The checkout tax ID field now follows the billing country. Spanish buyers are
asked for a NIF, CIF or NIE, businesses in other EU countries for their EU VAT
number, and other buyers for an identity document or passport.
 * Buyers in other EU countries can say whether they buy as a business or as a consumer.
A buyer who does not answer is treated as a consumer.
 * A mistyped Spanish tax ID or EU VAT number is flagged at once, even when the
store is not connected to Finseed. A buyer can declare a passport or another
   country’s identity document instead.

#### 2.1.0

 * Clearer store connection screen: correct plugin naming, clearer permission wording,
and a fixed display of the signed-in email.
 * The store connection now delivers the API key directly during setup, instead
of relying only on a background job. This helps stores behind tunnels, proxies
   or protected staging.
 * Fixed a rare issue where disconnecting a store could leave an active API key
   behind in the shop.

#### 2.0.6

 * Verified compatibility with WordPress 7.1, and expanded the documentation linked
from the listing. No change to how the plugin runs or to how invoices are issued.

#### 2.0.5

 * Simplified the plugin name and rewrote the short description for clarity and
consistency. No change to how the plugin runs or to how invoices are issued.

#### 2.0.4

 * Updated the plugin listing icon. No change to how the plugin runs or to how invoices
   are issued.

#### 2.0.3

 * Renamed the listing title, rewrote the short description, and added a fifth search
tag («aeat»). No change to how the plugin runs or to how invoices are issued.

#### 2.0.2

 * Maintenance release. Improves cleanup when the plugin is uninstalled. No change
to how invoices are issued or to the checkout.

#### 2.0.1

 * Maintenance release. Corrects text in the plugin listing on WordPress.org. No
change to how the plugin runs or to how invoices are issued.

#### 2.0.0

 * Connecting your store is now one button press. Go to WooCommerce > Finseed, press«
Conectar con Finseed», approve the store in your browser, and the connection
completes on its own. You never copy or paste a key.
 * **The previous connection method has been removed.** If your store was connected
by pasting a key into the settings page, that connection no longer works and
the plugin will ask you to connect again using the button above. Your issued
   invoices are unaffected.
 * The settings page now shows the connection status: whether the store runs in
test or production, and when the connection was last confirmed.
 * You can close the connection from the plugin, and uninstalling the plugin closes
   it at Finseed too.
 * A fresh install now explains what the plugin does before asking you to connect,
and reminds you if the plugin is installed but never connected.
 * Fixed: the NIF/CIF field on the classic checkout keeps its validation state more
   reliably.

#### 1.1.2

 * Maintenance release. No changes to how invoices are issued or to the checkout.

#### 1.1.1

 * The plugin now keeps a stable installation identifier in your store, preserved
across uninstall. See «Data the plugin stores in your store». It is not sent
   anywhere in this version.
 * Listing rewritten: English source text, full description of what the service
   does, and an expanded FAQ.

#### 1.1.0

 * El panel de ajustes y el checkout pasan a estar en español.
