Automatic installation

  1. To do an automatic install of our plugin, log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New.

  2. In the search field type “WooCommerce Auction” and click Search Plugins. Once you’ve found «Ultimate WooCommerce Auction Plugin» by «Nitesh Singh», you can view details about it such as the point release, rating and description. Most importantly of course, you can install it by simply clicking “Install Now”.

  3. Once installed, simply click «Activate».

  4. After you have setup WooCommerce and activated our plugin, you should add a product. You can do it via WordPress Dashboard, navigate to the Products menu and click Add New.

  5. While adding product, choose «product data = Auction Product». Add data to relevant fields and publish it.

Your auction product should now be ready and displayed under «Shop» page. If you have problems please open discussion in support forum.

Manual installation

The manual installation method involves downloading our plugin and uploading it to your webserver via your favourite FTP application. The WordPress codex contains instructions on how to do this here. Kindly follow these instructions for WooCommerce Plugin and then for our plugin.

Then kindly follow step 4 and 5 from «Automatic Installation».

Automatic updates should work like a charm; as always though, ensure you backup your site just in case.

If on the off-chance you do encounter issues with the shop/category pages after an update you simply need to flush the permalinks by going to WordPress > Settings > Permalinks and hitting ‘save’. That should return things to normal.

We used Ultimate Woo Auction plugin to auction 100 items simultaneously. The plugin worked flawlessly and produced reports that allowed us to keep track of our auctions. Notifications to the auction customers kept the customers involved and kept the bidding going. In developing our auctions, we had some difficulties understanding and using some of the controls. The support team quickly sorted out what we were doing wrong. Thank you. I recommend this plugin.
Nice plugin, easy to install and with a very good support from editor.
All problems I encountered have been resolved. Fastest support response times than any other plug in. Very patient and keen to always improve their products. Highly recommend for any auctioneer to use this plug in as it also has more features than most plug ins without coding.
I use pro version 1) no developer documentation 2) very low code quality 3) a lot of php errors (Warning and Notice). That's why ajax doesn't work
Really enjoy using this plugin, some of the features such as Buyer Premiums, & Anti-Sniping, are really useful. There are THREE features I would like to see added though. One is the ability to rename the 'Reviews' field as 'Comments' since you wouldn't leave a review of an auction product. Additionally, I'd like to be able to change the color of the countdown timer when it gets to a certain time. I.e. Timer turns red when the auction goes below 2 minutes or something like that. And last, it would be great to be able to override the 'Quantity Selector', and replace it with an open field so customers can more easily type in their bid instead of using the plus or minus signs.
