It does not support child themes.
The file taxonomy-pa_size.php must be created in the parent theme folder.
Please indicate in the description.

this extension does not support the latest version of WooCommerce. Menus are sending to a 404 page.

Install it, configure it and it works like a charm. Save the whole bother of having to do it manually by trial and error. This should have been a standard feature in Woo Commerce.
