Не загружаются изображения с компьютера

Доброго времени суток

За 2 года использования Word Press ни разу не удавалось загружать изображения с компьютера прямиком на сайт ни через стандартный, ни через Flash-загрузчик

Приходилось идти в обход через FTP-сервер

При обновлении версии Word Press проблема осталась

Сейчас сменил дизайн и в качестве теста пробовал заргужать картинки с другого компа — результат тот же, а именно:

при желании добавить миниатюуру, впрочем, как и любого изображения, система выдаёт следующую ругаловку:

Не могу создать директорию /home/sharkov/domains/4realman.ru/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2011/04. Проверьте, доступна ли родительская директория для записи.

Пробовал открыть требуемый фалйл в скачанном архиве wp-includes/functions.php — не понятно, где строчки 2051 и 2060

Подскажите, пожалуйста, что нужно изменить
