Этот плагин не тестировался с последними 3 основными выпусками WordPress. Скорее всего, он уже не поддерживается и может быть несовместим с текущими версиями WordPress.

Accessibility spring

Описание

Accessibility spring provide an instruments for making your site more accessible for people with visually impaired. You can in simple way configure view of sidebar depending on the design of the site.

Установка

  1. Upload the plugin files to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.

  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.

  3. Use the Acessibility Spring menu item in WordPress sidebar to configure the plugin.

If you do not enable, at least, one option in Accessibility Spring menu — your sidebar in the site will be empty.

  • Fixed bug when all text on site became unreadable, while plugin is activated.
    It happened on sites, that haven’t declared charset explicitly. Now, plugin set charset to UTF-8.

  • Added possibility to scale page.
    I know (and some people wrote me about that), that functionality for changing font size works incorrect.
    In fact, that works correct, but only if you are using in CSS rem or em units (instead of pixels).
    Accessibility spring just changing the font size of element.
    After research I found universal solution, and implement that in my plugin. Now, you can try and choose approach, that work better in you case — «Option to change font size» or «Option to scale page». But I still finding the best practise, and I hope, that I will found most universal solution for changing size of text, even when your site written with px, vh, %, pt, etc.

  • Fixed bug when «handicap-icon» was displayed in wp-login page.
