Описание
Russian marketplaces hold years of customer reviews for products that shops also sell on their own
site. TrustSell moves those reviews to your own product pages, so a visitor who lands on your store
sees the same social proof they would see on a marketplace listing.
The plugin is a thin wrapper around the TrustSell service. It stores nothing and proxies nothing:
the visitor’s browser loads the widget script and the public review feed directly from your TrustSell
backend. Requires a TrustSell account and a project key, see «External services» below.
What it does
- Shows reviews with photos and video in the native WooCommerce «Reviews» tab.
- Renders the top reviews server-side, so search engines index them as page text.
- Emits schema.org Product markup with AggregateRating and Review, which can produce rating stars in
search results. Can be turned off if an SEO plugin already outputs a Product node. - Optional star rating in category and archive listings, and a rating badge next to the product title.
- Generates a product feed so the TrustSell catalogue stays in sync without manual spreadsheet uploads.
Ways to place the widget
[trustsell]with no attributes. On a WooCommerce product page the plugin resolves the product
itself and takes the article number from SKU (or a custom meta field).[trustsell product_id="209017176"]with an explicit catalogue identifier.[trustsell post_id="29184"]when you only have the WordPress post ID.- The «TrustSell Reviews» block in the block editor.
- Automatic output below the WooCommerce product card, enabled in the plugin settings.
Classic themes, block (FSE) themes and the Product Collection block are all supported.
External services
This plugin connects to the TrustSell review service to fetch the reviews it displays. It is a
software as a service product and an account is required. Without a project key the plugin makes no
outbound requests at all.
What is sent, and when
- When a product page is rendered, the plugin requests review data for that product. The request
contains your public project key and the product identifier taken from the product SKU or the meta
field you configured. Sent server-side from your site tohttps://lk.trustsell.ru. - When a category or archive page is rendered and rating stars are enabled, the plugin requests
ratings for the products of that page in one call. The same key and the same product identifiers
are sent. - When a visitor opens a page that contains the widget, their browser loads
widget.jsfrom the same
host and requests the public review feed for that product. This means the visitor’s IP address and
user agent reach the service, as with any externally hosted script. - No personal data of your customers, no order data and no site credentials are sent.
The API host is configurable, so if you run TrustSell on your own domain the requests go there instead.

Этот плагин предоставляет 1 блок.
- TrustSell Reviews
Установка
- Upload the plugin through Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin, or install it from the plugin directory.
- Activate the plugin.
- Go to TrustSell in the admin menu and enter your public project key (it looks like
rvw_...) from the Installation tab of your TrustSell account. Until the key is filled in the plugin stays idle. - Optionally set the meta field holding the article number (default
_sku) and enable automatic output below the WooCommerce product card. - Place
[trustsell]or the block where you want the reviews, or rely on automatic output.
Часто задаваемые вопросы
-
I installed the plugin and nothing happens
-
Check that the project key is filled in. Since version 1.15.0 the plugin ships with an empty key and
does nothing until you enter your own, so that it never displays another account’s reviews or contacts
the service without your consent. -
What goes into product_id?
-
The marketplace identifier the reviews are matched against in TrustSell (for Wildberries this is the
nmId). It must equal the value stored in your TrustSell catalogue. It is not the WordPress post ID.
If you only have the post ID, use[trustsell post_id="..."]and the plugin will read the SKU itself. -
How do I pass the product from a theme template?
-
The simplest option is
[trustsell]with no attributes. If you need it explicit, the product is in
global $product:global $product; echo do_shortcode( '[trustsell post_id="' . $product->get_id() . '"]' );The
$product->idproperty has been deprecated since WooCommerce 3.0 and is empty on current
versions, so useget_id()orget_sku(). -
I enabled catalogue stars and they do not show up
-
First clear your page cache and CDN cache, product listings are cached almost everywhere. If that
does not help, the theme is the cause: stars are printed on the standard WooCommerce hook
woocommerce_after_shop_loop_item_title, and a theme that renders listing cards with its own markup
never calls it. Switch to Storefront temporarily to confirm. -
Does it work without WooCommerce?
-
Yes, through the shortcode with an explicit
product_id. Automatic output, catalogue stars and the
product feed require WooCommerce.

Журнал изменений
1.19.0
- The Gutenberg block was still hard-coded in Russian and, worse, used the wrong text
domain, so its strings could never be translated at all. Fixed both. - Editor strings now load through wp_set_script_translations, with a bundled ru_RU
JSON translation next to the .mo file.
1.18.0
- Source strings are now in English, as the plugin directory expects, and the Russian
interface ships as a bundled ru_RU translation. Russian sites see exactly the same
wording as before; other locales get English instead of Cyrillic. - Added Domain Path and load_plugin_textdomain, so the bundled translation is loaded.
1.17.3
- Coding standard annotation for the version-less script handle now covers the whole call.
1.17.2
- The widget script is now attached with the standard script attribute API instead of assembling a
script tag in code, and the structured data block is printed with wp_print_inline_script_tag(). - Removed the «ready-made snippet» box from the settings screen. It showed markup for using the
widget without the plugin, which does not belong in the plugin interface. - Requires WordPress 6.3 or newer, which is where the async loading strategy and the script
attribute filter were introduced.
1.17.1
- Photo strip in reviews: the «N more reviews with photos» counter is visible immediately as an
overlay on the last tile, and the carousel arrows also appear when the widget sits in the
Reviews tab.
1.17.0
- Star ratings are now printed in product lists outside the catalogue as well: in the [products]
shortcode block and in the Related products section of a product page. - Several lists on one page ask the service only about their own new products, without extra requests.
1.16.0
- Star ratings next to the product title and on catalogue cards now use the colour chosen in the
TrustSell account. The same colour applies to the server-rendered review list.
1.15.4
- Text domain now matches the directory slug so translations load correctly.
1.15.3
- Coding standard annotation for the intentionally version-less script handle.
1.15.2
- Feed query parameter is now sanitised at the point it is read.
- Coding standard fixes required by the plugin directory review tooling.
1.15.1
- The widget script is now registered through the standard WordPress script queue
instead of being printed directly, as required by the plugin directory guidelines.
The versioned file name is preserved, so caching plugins still pick up new releases.
1.15.0
- The plugin no longer ships with a project key and no longer contacts the service until you enter
your own key. Previously a demo key was hard coded, which meant a freshly activated plugin could
display reviews belonging to another account. - Sites upgrading from earlier versions keep working: if the plugin was configured before, the
previous key is written into the database once during the upgrade. - An admin notice now points to the settings screen while the key is empty.
- Plugin home page moved to trustsell.ru, support address added.
1.14.1
- Catalogue stars are no longer printed twice on hybrid themes, where both the Product Collection
block and the classic WooCommerce hook fired for the same product.
1.14.0
- Catalogue star ratings on block based storefronts using the Product Collection block, where the
classic WooCommerce hooks are never called.
1.13.3
- Security: JSON-LD output is now escaped with
JSON_HEX_TAG|JSON_HEX_AMP|JSON_HEX_APOS|JSON_HEX_QUOT.
The previous guard was a no-op, so review content could break out of the script tag.
1.13.0
- Star ratings on product cards in listings and categories, fetched in a single request per page.
1.12.0
- Rating badge next to the product title, rendered server-side so it is indexable.
1.10.0
- The widget script is now versioned by file name (
/widget-1.10.0.js) instead of a query argument,
because caching plugins key external scripts by file name and ignore the query string.
1.9.0
- Reviews no longer end up inside the product description when the theme renders a Reviews tab.
- Fixed a case where the related products loop caused another product’s reviews to be shown.
- New
post_idshortcode attribute.
1.8.0
- Renamed to TrustSell. Old
[reviewplus]shortcode and feed URL keep working, settings migrate
automatically.
1.6.0
- Product feed generation for catalogue synchronisation.
1.0.0
- First release: shortcode, block, automatic WooCommerce output, settings screen.
