Changing usernames should be a pretty straightforward feature. Unfortunately, WordPress doesn’t allow it by default. Username Changer attempts to remedy that oversight.

- Visit ‘Plugins > Add New’
- Search for ‘Username Changer’
- Activate Username Changer from your Plugins page

- Download Username Changer
- Upload the ‘username-changer’ folder to the ‘/wp-content/plugins’ directory of your WordPress installation
- Activate Username Changer from your Plugins page

I don't need it often, but when a customer wants a username changed, this plugin takes care of business. Thanks for creating this little gem!

This plugin works well for single sites. But it does not update the wp_sitemeta site_admins setting, so if any username you change is a superadmin, it will lose network admin access until that database entry is edited manually.

Excellent plug in. works like a charm. Just installed it and went in to the settings. The greyed our option of change username was now available. Too Good.
Man the balance $4 i will pay soon. Just a little tight right now. LOL

Highly reviewed plugin. Gave one star because no directions in details... have to search around for it. Add directions and I'll change review.

Thank you! This plugin saved tons of work and time to modify the username. And it has features where you can send a heads up to others if you're about to change their username as well.
